Jeanine is based in the Netherlands and has studied contemporary jewellery design at d’Academie Beeld, in Belgium. In addition to learning jewellery techniques, she also mastered the design of conceptual work.
By delving into specific themes, her conceptual wearable art emerged. The choice of material and design is framed by project-based work. Research into the possibilities of various materials plays a significant role in this process. With the intention of increasing recycling efforts and a commitment to a smaller ecological footprint, she aims to set waste streams in motion. The central focus of her work lies in the reuse of existing natural and/or non-natural materials.
